Hello everybody, and welcome to my first Lego review. Before we start, I want to give special thanks to my mom who gave me the opportunity to write these reviews. But without any more talking, let's get started!
In the box we have . . .
3 bags of parts,
1 instruction booklet,
and 1 octagon plate.
Before we really start building I should introduce you to this set and its theme. The set's name is "The Melting Room" and its theme is The Lego Movie. If you haven't heard of that, then I'll tell you what it is. It's a line of sets along with a movie about a Lego construction worker who gets a crazy red thing stuck to his back. Then he has to save the world. Well, let's get started for real! The first thing we build are the three minifigures.
The next thing we do is open the bags. My favorite parts are...
Sorry about the flash. The first thing we build is the base (see above), then we start building the chair in which Emmet (see orange guy two pictures above) is strapped into. Here's what it looks like:
Once that's done we add a little platform holding handcuffs and an ax.
The model is starting to take shape! The last thing we need to do is to add the melter. There's a cool control panel in its build but when it's put down you can't see it. :(
Once the melter is finished, the set's done and it's looking great!
Here's a picture of the finished model. (I added the red stool to be fancy -- it doesn't come in the set.)
Thanks for reading!
